Kay County District Court accepted a plea to felony counts of conspiracy and robbery with a dangerous or imitation weapon. 21 year old Caulin Wade Orcutt of Shidler was charged on April 14, 2016. Orcutt entered a no contest plea.
Ponca City police responded to the Stop N Go on West Highland in Jan of last year for a report of a robbery.
The Clerk told police two males came into the store with bandanas over their faces with one holding a shotgun.
Police Sgt. Jeff Woodward reports Brian Huffman and Tierra Bond were arrested in connection with three armed robberies.
Bond waived her rights and told police that Camron Ross and Brian Huffman got drunk and planned to rob the store. She said that it was Orcutts idea.
She said they picked Orcutt up in Shidler and that he had a rifle. She drove them to the store and Orcutt and Huffman robbed the store.
Orcutt was sentenced to 10 years in prison; however, after counting time served the remaining balance is suspended. He was also ordered to have no contact with convicted felons.
Bond entered a no contest plea on Oct. 3, 2016 to four felony charges of robbery with a dangerous or imitation weapon and conspiracy.
She was sentenced to 15 years in prison with all but four months in the county jail suspended.
Huffman is set for a plea docket on Dec. 8.
