The total of Flu deaths across Oklahoma continues to rise as there is now a report of 129 flu deaths in the state. According to Oklahoma health officials, 3,000 people have been hospitalized with illness. The Oklahoma department of health said Thursday that flu deaths since September 1st exceed the previous record of 114 deaths which was set 4 years ago. There were 110 flu-related deaths in the previous flu season. Right now, the highest number of recorded Flu hospitalizations is Tulsa county. Where there have been a total of 718 hospitalizations, and 23 deaths.

24 hospitalizations due to the flu have been recorded in Kay County.
