After many years working for iHeart and Clear Channel, Lyman has found a new radio home – waking up North Central Oklahoma each weekday from 6am to 9am. Lyman’s a part of the Sunny Morning Show with Deb Woodruff and Randy Bishop. You’ll hear lots of music, plus local news from the Ponca Post News Room and Dan Holiday Weather! Each morning show includes our Jr DJ of the Week at 7am with the Pledge of Allegiance, Pizza Hut’s Early Morning Brainbuster Trivia at 7:20, Totally Random Trivia from TS Fork on Thursdays, and our Birthday VIP’s at 7:40 sponsored by Papa Murphy’s. Come on! Wake up on the fun side of the bed with Sunny!
Family: Married (wife Zoe) with 4 kids, a Pug named Roscoe and a cat named “Whoee”. I’m the oldest of 10 kids!
Born: In Indianapolis, IN and worked for wrestling great Doug Blubaugh for two summers while Doug was the head coach at Indiana University. Grew up in the country, just outside of the small town of Spencer (about 2,500 people), 15 minutes from Bloomington – so I’m still a big Hoosier fan. Don’t be a hater…. 🙂

Last Concert: The Eagles

Favorite Pizza Toppings: Sausage with green pepper and onions.
Favorite TV Show: The Blacklist and The Voice.

Had the biggest influence on my life: My high school football coaches George Henry and Ron Eaton.
If I wasn’t in radio I would probably be: A coach/teacher.
Most people don’t know: I was a YoungLife leader at North High School in Wichita, KS when Barry Sanders was a high school kid and came to our club. So…although I’m a Indiana Hoosier at heart – I lean heavily toward being a Cowboy over a Sooner. 🙂
Best advice I could give: Psalm 1:1-3
