Last night,  Oklahoma City flipped in an instant from uncertain to steady, from head-scratching to Heat-scorching in a 115-93 rout of the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena.

After trailing by as many as 18 points in the first quarter, after missing its first 10 shots, after looking like the disjointed unit it so often has been, the Thunder found a playoff-clinching gear, and saved it for the very last.

Last nights win guaranteed the Thunder will be in the playoffs, and a win in Wednesday’s finale — a home game against the Memphis Grizzlies, one of the league’s worst teams — would assure OKC no worse than the No. 6 seed.  WBBZ is the home for Thunder Basketball in North Central Oklahoma and South Central Kansas.
