The Thunder might be represented at the NBA All-Star Game, but the team won’t have a starter.
Russell Westbrook finished fourth among Western Conference guards in fan voting and third in voting by both players and media, released yesterday.
Westbrook is a contender for a reserve spot, as are teammates Paul George and Carmelo Anthony.
For the second straight season, starters were selected by weighted votes, with the fan vote accounting for 50 percent of the result, with voting by media and current players counting for 25 percent each.
The Thunder takes on the Cleveland Cavaliers tomorrow with a 2:30 tip off. The Thunder haven’t played in Cleveland in almost a year when they beat the home town team 118-109.
