On Russell Westbrook’s 29th birthday, the Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Dallas Mavericks and you heard the victorius game on WBBZ. The Thunder were without Carmelo Anthony and Steven Adams due to injuries and went with Jerami Grant and Dakari Johnson in the starting lineup.

Oklahoma City jumped out to lead in the second quarter and although they were up on the Mavericks by as many as eight points, the Thunder were up 44-42 at half.

Russell Westbrook changed his shoes at halftime, and something clicked. Russ and Paul George both had 16 points in the third quarter.

Paul George dropped 37 points and Oklahoma City rolled on  I-35 foes with a final score of 112-99.

Westbrook finished with 27 points, six rebound, and five assists.
