Earthquake shakes areas of northern Oklahoma Tuesday morning

POND CREEK, Ok. – If you felt a little bit of shaking in the early hours of Tuesday morning, that was likely from an earthquake that occurred Tuesday morning across northern Oklahoma.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey Team, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake happened at 3:58 a.m. Tuesday morning. with the epicenter located about 9 miles northeast of Pond Creek in Grant County.

As of 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, no damage from the earthquake has been reported.
