Federal offices, including the Post Office, will be closed today as part of the federal government’s National Day of Mourning for Former President George H. W. Bush. The closings of non-essential government offices were ordered by President Donald Trump to honor the 41st President of the United States. Bush served from 1989 to 1993. He died at his Texas home on Friday, November 30 at the age of 94. A funeral will take place Wednesday at Washington National Cathedral.
