Local Air Force Master Sergeant Receives Award

Air Force Air National Guard Master Sgt. Lisa G. Eisenhauer of the 114th Fighter Wing, South Dakota Air National Guard, was recognized by the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy Graduates’ Association as the national “Outstanding Graduate of the Year 2016” during their annual General Membership Meeting and banquet/ceremony held in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Each year, one enlisted individual is chosen from a group of nominated candidates representing over 120 national chapters. This individual best epitomizes and represents the high qualities of a professional military NCO. Those qualities include leadership and motivation, exceptional devotion to duty while demonstrating outstanding volunteerism and patriotism, as well as the continuing commitment to achieving personal and/or career educational goals.
MSgt. Eisenhauer is currently the President of the NCOAGA Chapter 70 “Pheasant Country,” and in this position she organizes, coordinates and performs in various Honor Guard and military ceremonies throughout the community. She also volunteers at “The Banquet” to help serve meals to those less fortunate, is a long-time blood donor and assists with organizing the 114th FW periodic Blood Drives and continues to encourage and mentor others in order to help them achieve their educational goals, whether personal or military-associated. MSgt. Eisenhauer is currently a Quality Assurance technician assigned to the 114th Fighter Wing, Maintenance Squadron at Joe Foss Field, S.D.
She is currently serving as Quality Assurance Technician-Avionics with 114 Fighter Wing, Joe Foss Field, S.D.
Eisenhauer is the daughter of Lu Otten of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Ken Eisenhauer of Rapid City, S.D., sister of Jan Piel of Arnold, Calif., and niece of Lenora Veloz of Ponca City.
The officer graduated in 1980 from Washington High School, Sioux Falls, S.D.
