Late last night, a driver of a Dodge Pickup was pinned for approximately four hours after wrecking his pickup in a creek embankment.
The accident happened in Guthrie when Stephen Sloniker of Oklahoma City was being chased by several law enforcement agencies.
Sloniker was pronounced dead at the scene. The pursuit began in Oklahoma City where the suspect was being stopped for traffic charges when he fled.
That pursuit was terminated and a second pursuit began. It was terminated also when the Logan Countys Sheriffs Office and Guthrie Police Department picked up the chase.
Authorities at the scene say Sloniker failed to make a turn and crashed.
