With College Football starting as soon as this upcoming Saturday for some teams, the Associated Press has released their Preseason Top 25 Poll. It’s no surprise that 2017-2018 National Champ Alabama is ranked number 1. Following Alabama is Clemson at number 2 and Georgia at number 3.

The Oklahoma Sooners are ranked as number 7 in the top 25 poll. Even though Heisman Trophy Winner Baker Mayfield has went on to play in the NFL, the Sooners are looking to have another powerful offense this year as Oakland A’s Signee Kyler Murray looks to take over as Quarterback. And for Oklahoma State, the Cowboys did not make the top 25 poll, but a couple of early non-conference wins could possibly change that. The Cowboys are looking to accomplish some rebuilding as James Washington and Mason Rudolph are now playing in the NFL.

The Oklahoma Sooners first football game is in Norman against Florida Atlantic at 11 a.m. and can be heard on AM 1230 WBBZ. And the first Oklahoma State Cowboys football game is August 30 in Stillwater against Missouri State at 7 p.m. and can be heard on Sunny 104.7
