Tulsa Man Killed In Osage County Wreck, Children Hospitalized

A fatality collision occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. on State Highway 11 0.4 miles east of County Road 2561 east of Pershing in Osage County.

Steven David Haber, 61, of Tulsa was driving a 2009 Honda Accord eastbound on SH-11 when it entered the westbound lane and struck head-on with a 2013 Dodge Durango driven by Rebecca Jo McLain, 31, of Skiatook.

Haber was pronounced dead at the scene from head, arm, leg, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries.  Haber was transported to Johnson’s Funeral Home in Pawhuska.

As for the Dodge Durango, McLain was transported by AirEvac to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in stable condition with head, leg, and trunk external injuries. Four young passengers with names withheld were with McClain. A female, 6, of Skiatook was transported by AirEvac to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries. A second female, 9 months, of Skiatook was transported by ambulance to Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, then transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition with head injuries. A third female, 2, of Skiatook was also transported by ambulance to Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, then transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in stable condition with trunk internal injuries. A male, 1, of Barnsdall, was transported by ambulance to Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, then transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries, treated and released.
