U.S. Senator James Lankford made a stop in Blackwell on Monday for a question and answer session about the country’s problem with illegal immigration. Lankford said one of the biggest concerns is the flow of illegal drugs across the border. Lankford also discussed at the meeting in Blackwell about cutting down on the number of children crossing the border and being allowed to remain in the country. Lankford said that the problem with illegal immigration will continue to get worse unless legislation is passed.
