PONCA CITY – Ponca City voters went out to the poles on Tuesday with a majority voting “yes” to fund the proposed Public Safety Center. With all precincts, absentee mail ballots and early voting ballots counted as of 7:55 p.m. Tuesday evening, the measure passed with 879 yes votes to 377 no votes. The remodeling of the Public Safety Center will bring it up to modern police standards and is estimated to be around $20 million.
