The Ponca City Wildcats ran their first cross country meet of the season yesterday afternoon in Enid.
Some of the finishes included the top 3 Varsity boys: Garrison Blanton taking 5th, Gavin Anderson taking 7th and Tyler Thompson 11th.
Ponca’s Jr. High runners fared well, too! Justin Thompson finished 1st for the boys and Hannah Jennings finished 1st for the girls. The Jr High boys and girls teams each brought home the trophy for Ponca City!
The next cross country meet is Thursday at 4 p.m. at Lake Ponca.
