After spending a busy summer filled with summer pride workouts and seven-on-seven sessions, The Ponca City Wildcats are ready to tackle the 2018 football season. As of today, Monday, August 6, the Wildcats began two-a-day practices where they will have one session at 7 a.m., and another session at 7 p.m. The first intrasquad scrimmage will be a part of the Fall Sports Bash and will start at 7 p.m. Friday. Ponca City will then travel to Stillwater for a scrimmage on Friday, August 17. The Wildcats first football game will be Friday, August 31 where the Wildcats will play host to Enid at Sullins Stadium.
Ponca City will be a part of Class 6A II’s District 2 which includes Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Booker T. Washington, Bartlesville, Bixby, Shawnee and Muskogee.
